New York College of Health Professions, a non-profit, private institution, has been a leader in holistic health care and education for over 30 years. It offers Associate and Bachelors degrees in Massage Therapy and Bachelor/Masters degrees in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, as well as Certification in Holistic Nursing for RNs, the Science of Self Improvement, T'ai Chi and Yoga Instructor Certification and a variety of continuing education workshops. The College has institutional accreditation for all its degree programs and additional programmatic accreditation for its graduate degree programs.
New York College is chartered by the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York and all degree and certificate programs are registered by the New York State Education Department. The College is committed to excellence in health care education and operates one of the largest holistic clinics in the area where student interns treat the public.
New York College has grown in the last few years. In addition to its campus in Syosset, Long Island there are now three locations in Manhattan - uptown, midtown and downtown. The current student body represents a cross section of ages, ethnicities and interests, all desiring to enter the fastest growing segments in health care.
